Once again, the shooters had a great weekend. Typically, this would be the final 4H tournament but there will be another tournament in Dillon on March 18th, as well as a few National tournaments that several kids have been invited to. Really proud of these kids, they’ve worked hard this year.

Jonna Warnken

Jonna had a great weekend placing 1st overall and in age group for Smallbore 3P, 1st overall and in age group for Precision 3P, and 2nd overall and in age group for Precision Standing.

Howie Edison

Howie placed 4th overall and 1st in his age group in the 3P (3 position). He had another great showing in Prone with a 3rd place overall finish and 1st in age group. Placing 2nd overall and in age group in the standing position.

Bailey Milender

Bailey ended up tied with Howie for 5th place overall and 2nd in age group for 3P. Prone was proving difficult where she ended up 6th overall and 4th in age group. Capping the weekend with a 1st place overall and 1st in age group in standing – breaking a 2015 record by 5 points with a 347 (record was 342).

Heath Edison

Heath had a great weekend, shooting several personal bests. Heath placed 5th in age group for 3P with a personal best 255. Placing 5th overall and 3rd in age group for Prone – very consistent performance and some of his best scores. Placing 11th in age group for standing and showing very consistent shooting.

Decker Milender

Decker ended up 5th in age group for 3P, 2nd in age group for Prone, and 1st place in standing for age group with some solid shooting.

Payton Milender

Payton also stayed consistent with her scores placing 7th in age group for 3P, 5th in age group for prone with one personal best of 96, and ending up in 3rd in age group for standing again with several personal bests.

Mackenzie Chapman

Mackenzie is progressing rapidly and placed 9th in age group for 3P, placing 20th in age group for Prone, and 6th in age group for standing. Mackenzie had one target in prone that she was running out of air – she did great remaining calm and finished strong.

Kaleb Chapman

Kaleb has had a rough year, breaking his foot about half way through the season and missing quite a few practices. He still came on Saturday and did his best. Placing 33rd for age group in 3P and 25th in age group for Prone.

Teagun Chapman

Teagun also did a great job this weekend, placing 30th in age group for 3P, 15th for age group in Prone, and 11th in age group for Standing.
